Midland Power Cooperative is offering one high school sophomore or junior an all-expenses paid trip to the nation’s capital.
For more than 60 years, Midland Power has sponsored high school students for the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour, where they learn about not only electric cooperatives, but also US history, the federal government and meet members of Congress. The trip will take place from June 21-24.
Only sophomores and juniors who are attending schools in the Midland Power service territory are eligible to apply. The deadline to apply is March 17.
